Work with Me: Available Sessions
Not sure which session is right for you?
If you've just received a discharge call — the Hospital-to-Home session is where to start.
If you're planning ahead for a loved one's safety at home — the Home Safety Strategy Session is for you.
Both are 45 minutes, virtual, and $147.
Hospital-to-Home Strategy Session
For families managing a discharge.
You have questions, a short timeline, and no roadmap. We'll meet virtually, walk through what to ask the discharge team, what to expect once your loved one is home, and what rights and resources your family is entitled to. You leave with clarity and a plan — not a panic.
$147
This session is for you if…
Your loved one is being discharged from a hospital or rehab facility
You received a discharge call with little notice and don't know where to start
You're not sure what equipment to have ready before they come home
You don't know what Medicare, Medicaid, or home health covers — or how to ask
You want to know how to advocate for your family before they leave the facility
You're caring for a spouse, parent, or loved one with a new diagnosis or significant change in condition
What happens in a session:
We start with your situation — diagnosis, living setup, timeline, and your biggest concerns
I walk you through the right questions to ask the discharge team before your loved one leaves
We cover what equipment to have ready, how to set up the home, and what to expect in the first days
I explain what benefits and resources your family may be entitled to — in plain language
You receive a written summary and resource list within 48 hours of our session
This is an educational consultation — not a medical appointment or occupational therapy service. Available nationwide via video call.

FAQs
Do I need to have my loved one present for the session?
1
Not necessarily. Many sessions are with adult children planning on behalf of a parent. If your loved one is able and willing to participate, their presence can be helpful — but it's not required.
Is this the same as an occupational therapy evaluation?
2
No. This is an educational strategy session, not a clinical OT assessment. We focus on general home safety education and family planning support. For a formal clinical evaluation, you would need a referral through your loved one's healthcare provider.
Do you take insurance?
3
Sessions are private pay only and are not billed through insurance. Payment is due at the time of booking.
Do I need to prepare anything before my session?
4
No prep required — just come as you are. If you want to make the most of our time together, it can help to jot down your top concerns or questions beforehand, or do a quick walk through the main areas of your home with fresh eyes. But there's no homework, no forms to fill out, and nothing you need to have figured out in advance.
If you'd like a structured starting point, our free 5 Most Dangerous Fall Hazards in Your Home checklist walks you through the most common hazards room by room — download it free on our homepage. Completely optional, but a great way to go into your session feeling prepared.
